A young man has taken to Social Media to vent his frustrations as a member of Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s campaign team in the August polls.
According to Kinoti wa Mwenda, Governor Kawira abandoned him and several other youths immediately after winning the County top seat in the August 8 General Election.
Kinoti says he was actively involved in the campaigns, provided key intelligence reports about Kawira’s security, and even risked his life in the process.
“In Abogeta West, tulikuwa wawili tu wenye tulisupport Mama. After kura, tukaform kikundi ya independent politicians. After kuingia, akatwambia tupige campaign ya Hillary Sandi. Which we did.
“Akachukua Sandi with the promise that atatuchukua pia. After that akaanza kulenga. Finally we were cut off.” he adds.
“Hapo ndio tulianza kuexpose wrong doings zake. Why would I support someone who has used me and dumped me before?”
“You don’t know the pain of sleeping hungry, while doing someone’s job. The pain of sleeping kwa floor kwa kina sandy, ukiwa njaa, ukiwa umetumwa na ngabana. Halafu akugeuka.” he says.
According to Kinoti, Kawira Mwangaza vehemently campaigned for Hillary Sandi for the Nyaki West seat, but lost to the UDA candidate.
“I risked my life by getting into Kawira’s campaign at Abogeta West. Unajua karibu nidungwe visu wewe? I even rejected money from her competitors. I fueled campaign cars in Nyaki West. I went through all that. And more. But she betrayed me.”
