Leaders drawn from the Keiyo North CDF board on a benchmarking tour have today visited several successful projects funded by the fund in South Imenti Constituency.
The team was led by DCC Keiyo North Julius K. Maiyo HSC, Fund Account Manager Madam Sugut, Constituency Office Manager Mr Hillary Kibet, Sub county accountant Keiyo North Mr .Sammy K. Kiplagat, Constituency office Staff, NG-CDF staff, and NG-CDF committee keiyo North Constituency.
The team was received by DCC Imenti South, Stanley Too, Funds Account manager Leah Wairimu, Constituency Office Manager, NG-CDF chairman together with staff and committee members.
“The team held a 3 hours plenary session to exchange ideas on how Imenti South Constituency has been implementing projects funded by NG-CDF which has enabled the constituency to be ranked number 5 last year and number 7 the previous year country wide,” says Ms Leah Wairimu.
The team also visited several projects across the constituency, among them the Igoji Departmental offices, Kinoro Resource Centre, and Lower Chure Primary School among others.
South Imenti constituency was this year ranked number 5 out of 290 constituencies in terms of management of NG-CDF funds.
As a result, the NG-CDF oversight board recommended the constituency among the few to host leaders benchmarking from other parts of the country.
