A section of Buuri residents has expressed their support for Meru Woman Rep Kawira Mwangaza’s 2022 Gubernatorial bid.
Speaking after receiving new school desks for a Primary School in Buuri Constituency, area residents say Kawira deserves a bigger role with more resources to reach out to more people in Meru.
“She has done much with the little budget she gets as a Woman Representative. We will support her to be the next Meru Governor come 2022,” says Mwiti, a resident of Buuri.
A resident of Buuri Constituency, Kawira is counting on her mashinani interactions to catapult her 2022 gubernatorial bid.
Pundits however argue that former Governor Peter Munya and Governor Murungi remain the top contenders for the seat.
